I started with tires that were simple cylinders but decided they were just too plain. My second thought was a series of thinner cylinders stacked to make a tire that looked like an all season radial. But, that looked wrong to me for this trailer, so my third thought is what I went with – a chunkier tire with a very basic wheel design (or hub). Shown all together here, my actual design has the tire and hub separated to allow easier painting prior to assembly.
The trailer elements are inferred from the drawing but there are definitely pieces I am guessing at. The cab remains separated in this drawing, but it does appear to be coming together well.
